WHEN: ONE ARCHITECTURE WEEK 2015
The exhibition presented graduation projects by Bulgarian students of architecture and urbanism who have studied abroad. What makes the exhibition special is that all projects have as topic a location in Bulgaria. The exhibition is part of One Architecture Week’s long practice to give young architects a place for expression, to support the high quality education in architecture and establish a dialogue between theoretical study and architectural practice. The graduation projects featured in the selection develop architectural ideas and discuss issues related to Bulgaria: from urban planning solutions for the central part of Sofia, through innovative ideas for residential and public buildings, to functional reorganization and restoration of existing edifices.
The graduation projects have been selected by the event curator Mariya Barbudova.
