WHEN: SOFIA ARCHITECTURE WEEK 2012
The Union of Architects of Bulgaria (SAB) tried to provoke students and young architects in the competition for ideas on how Slaveikov Square could become a more sympathetic place. The theme of the competition was not only the formal square space, but also the public polemics of whether or not there should continue to exist a book market, and also how to reconsider the historic past of the square and what to do with rubbish.
